Description: Le Breton was the official illlustrator during the famous voyage 1837-1840 of the Astrolabe and Zelée under command of Jules Dumont d'Urville. The scene is either in Singapore harbour (most likely) or Batavia harbour. Astrolabe and Zelée are depicted on the right. The two ships anchored there for six days from 27th June 1839.
